I'm debating installing my wet sounds icon 8s today. I can haul my boat over to our work shop to get out of the rain for the install but im worried that after I get them installed if I should be taking them down. The boat is parked outside with a premium mooring cover and the bimini is rolled up and has a cover also. How many guys keep their tower cans up and stored outside?

I keep mine on all the time. I use Wet sounds "suitz" ,which is a neoprene slip cover .
I'm running 4 Icon 8s on my boat with no issues after 2 years.

We take our exiles off after every boat day. I'm not worried about the weather; rather theft.

Not sure about wet sounds but my Bazooka tubbies are 10 years old no garage but they get covered with bags mainly to to keep rain water from getting inside then dumping out when you hit the throttle. The Boat gets wrapped in the winter so they stay dry 7 months out of the year. With the speakers mounted on top the bags just pull over and a bungy keeps them from blowing off20160908_082144_resized.jpg tower 2.jpg 20160908_082134_resized.jpg
