Ok. I'm feeling good about this one. But last time, the pics brought alot of a different perspective in, so I wanted to throw this one out here to the pros too.

Looking pretty heavily at this 2006 SX230. 130 hours. Asking $22,000. Down to $19,000, don't think it's getting much lower. 2 owner history, only seen saltwater once. Semi-local. Good? Bad? Ugly? Whaddaya think?1.jpg 2.jpg 3.jpg 4.jpg 5.jpg 6.jpg 7.jpg 8.jpg 9.jpg

The good:
Large storage compartments outboard of the engines that Yamaha cut out of the 2007 models.

The bad:
No an HO
Engines that eat more fuel
Smaller head compartment
More expensive than this 2007 https://jetboaters.net/threads/sx230-ho-2007-for-sale-s-e-louisiana-19-000.3072/
Priced high for the older generation 230s
Painted trailer

The ugly:
The hydroturf looks stained and near the end of its life

I really thought that one would've been sold by now. He personally hasn't updated the thread in quite awhile. However, I am texting him now. It has 300 hours on it. Is that a worry on the HO's?

Just got off the phone with him. I'm calling the bank Monday. Couple little technical details to work through, but I'm fairly optimistic we can make it happen. Thanks @Bruce!

Yeah, I thought it was kinda high, but I was falling in love with the locality (less than 1/2 hour from me). And it has dual captains chairs which I really want. The gas mileage and HO is pushing me over the edge towards the 07 though.

If you like it that much, call them up and see if they are willing take you on a test ride. I'm sure that would help solidify your decision one way or another. I may be worth it to you in the end.

Looks really clean to me. I am confused about the hours...not sure about the price...but it looks good to me for that year.

300 hours is the 07 that Bruce linked to, and the one I am leaning towards. Thread kinda derailed a bit, but yeah, I'm liking the 07 alot more now that I talked to the guy.
