I noticed this on my 2020 195S (less than 50 hrs on it) when re-covering it at my storage location last time. It was a hot day, in the mid 90s but the adhesive on the back of my Seadek on the clean-out port access hatch appears to be releasing. I was able to push the Seadek back down some, but don't think it should be doing this. The boat is currently stored outside as nobody seems to have any indoor storage units available in my area still. I cover the boat with the white shipping cover and then a black/silver harbor freight tarp over that to keep the interior from fading (damprid inside the boat). I'm currently building a house with a garage for the boat, but that won't be ready until Nov.

Has anybody else experienced Seadek installed at the factory lifting like this? I'm it's covered under warranty but is still frustrating.

I have the same seadek on the back and haven't experienced that with mine. Is it bubbling up? I would file a warranty claim but have them do the work after the season is over. Use as is (make sure you document in writing and email) for now.

Can you run a fan when you cover and store it? I just happened to look up Seadek's official cleaning procedures and they warn against using certain chemicals because it'll loosen the adhesive.

Either way, file the claim, document it, and use as is until they fix it in the off season.

It is rare for it to be the case on such a new boat, but it does happen eventually. You can certainly try the dealer for warranty, but I humbly suggest that's just aggravation unless your dealer is super awesome, or you have a long winter they can take their sweet time on.

To solve yourself, if you can pull it up enough to expose the back of the seadek and the surface below, you can apply contact cement to glue it back. (perhaps masking other things near to keep them from overspray/spill of the cement)

If you can't pull it up just yet, don't force it, it will eventually pull up on its own.

Not sure how the dealer would fix. Either apply glue or get a brand new piece ordered and installed? but how long will that take?

Best of Luck however you choose to proceed.

Same thing happened to my boat after the first season (2019). As stated above, I used contact cement; the liquid type with the internal brush. Much better control to avoid spraying that shit all over your boat. It worked like a champ and has been holding up ever since.

If it's pulling up from the middle you could use a syringe and try to inject some glue into the bubble area?

Could be wrong here, but as past years that isn't sea deck it is marine mat. Which is Yamaha's direct supplier

It actually really is Seadek, at least for 2020+. It's glued on the swim deck areas, but inside the cockpit, it's the Snap-in. I got Seadek manual with the boat that had cleaning instructions. etc.

@Crob83 , editing my post here (and updated thread title as well). Just came back to say I am 100% wrong! You are correct, it is indeed MarineMat!
