Has anyone used Lightstream for financing? They are a division of Suntrust.

Did you have a positive/negative experience using them?

Thanks

Do a search for 1.99 percent boat financing. You will find some credit unions that offer this if you already don't have this good of a rate. Not sure about lightstream. I have never heard of them

Thanks. Alot depends on term and amount. I will be buying used and not financing the whole amount so the rate would be a little higher. I didn't see any rates that low for what I am looking for. Even Essex Credit has a 3-4 point swing between a <$25k and >$25k loan amount. I plan to payoff early so the rate should not have as large an impact.

I was more looking at how people liked/not liked their process. They basically allow you to shop like a cash buyer. No downpayment, no valuation required. Not like a traditional loan.

Thanks
