Military jet boats at Lake Oahe

On my recent trip to Lake Oahe, on the Sunday I was there when I came back to the dock there were a bunch of military jet boat tugs I’ll call them maneuvering pontoon bridge sections that were subsequently being loaded back onto military transports.

Saw that too but it was in June circa 2018 on our way back from the Black Hills. Would have been more fun to look at from I 90 if I wasn’t towing a camper. Further to the south Lake Francis Case was one of my favorite lakes to trailer boat to.
