So opened up and started my scupper swap out today, as soon as I grabbed my aft scupper is crumbled apart. I was just thinking thats okay, thats why I'm changing it. Well I went to loosen the drain line from the deck and upon loosening my hose clamp, almost no pressure. That fitting fell apart too, so off to partzilla to get one in quick. Good thing I still have 13 days left of my work rotation with no chance of getting the boat wet. Gives me time to install the swim deck cup holders, rule 1100gph bilge pump, tow valves, swim deck speakers, and Guest onboard charger along with NoCo thru hull plug.

One question what would you use to cut the 6.5" hole for the speakers, a rotozip?

Thanks
Andy

Your speakers probably call for a 5 inch hole. I use a hole saw for anything 6" or smaller and rotozip (with the circle accessory) for anything larger.

How critical is an expensive hole saw for this application?

Not critical at all, just quicker and easier.
I own all sizes up to 6" so I did not have to purchase.

Thanks! In my mind this falls straight into the harbor freight criteria for limited use.

The rotozip / dremil can walk on you (be careful).....best to use harbor freight "Air Reciprocating Saw" (20-30$) make sure to add protective tape.
