Last year @HangOutdoors posted a thread about Yamaha boat rumors for the 2022 and 2023 season. This included a rumor about a new 16' or 17' Yamaha bowrider powered by the TR-1 engine. The new boat line-up for 2023 will be announced next month, but I wanted to see if anyone had heard any news or rumors at all about the possibility of a new smaller Yamaha jet boat?

I have not heard anything about it since then. That was the last time I spoke with man at the company whom is one of our strategic partners. Also it was mentioned a 22'. Haven't heard anything since and it was over a year ago.

TBH, with the lack of Inventory and more buyers than boats, I am not sure how that will drive innovation in these different times. "Why bring out new models or major changes if you don't need to?" Streamline what you have and work on Net Profit to handle the ever increasing wages.

Larger boats generally bring larger profits, this is why some of the manufacturers have focused on their more expensive products. I don't expect to see many changes in 2023, especially as they are still building pre-orders from 2021/22. Maybe changes in 2024?
