Anchor & rope
Dock lines
Fenders

Air horn or whistle

So much more...

I recommend you read up on what is required by the coast guard to have on board. this ensures you are compliant if stopped. Life vest for each occupant. Throwable PDF (Square $10 floating cushion) Day Signal + Night Signal if boating after dark (Flares fulfills both) Horn/Whistle, Fire Extinguisher and your boat registration. Whatever I missed someone will point out I'm sure.

Anchor and Sufficient Rope. If you store a cheap towel or 2 on board if you ever forget them you can use your emergency stash.

I would recommend Boat Bling Hot Sauce to keep that beauty shining.
This times one hundred. I didn't use it the first season or two. Ended up having to do the Meguiers three step oxidation remover to get the water spots off. Spray the hot sauce and wipe her down after I pull her out each time and she looks showroom new all the time.

The link in my signature has a doc with everything that I’ve purchased (with product links) and mods that I’ve done.

Aside from the normal safety stuff, a few tools, and ropes, add a curved knife just in case you have to cut the tow rope out of your impeller shaft when you accidentally suck it up.

If my wife hadn’t had smaller arms than me, we would have ruined our tube rope. She managed to get it untangled, where I would have gave up and cut it off 15 minutes sooner. :)

Overton’s I think it was had a 4 pack of jackets for pretty cheap, just to get the right number of jackets on board.

Welcome! Beer cooler comes to mind. :)
If you'd like to add to your profile a location of where you live, it doesn't have to be exact, people can give you location specific help sometimes. The location is under your name and account settings.
I shop Fleet Farm which is a midwest store. Overtons is good.
Heres a link to the Coast Guard items. https://www.uscgboating.org/images/420.PDF

Here's my Amazon orders, waiting for pickup myself.

Trailer connector adapter - 7-pin to 5-flat

Bungee docklines

Mission Boat Gear Sentry Boat Fenders

Dock lines

chain for anchor line

Anchor line

Mantus 8lb Anchor x2

I inherited my dad's old boat, and he was the type to buy multiples of things, so I already had an oar, a throwable PFD, life vests for as many people as my 210 will hold...my wife had to point out to me that I didn't need to buy these things, but I had them in my Amazon cart - these are what I was gonna be getting as well:

Life jackets or if you want something "cooler" looking, but still reasonably priced, Alternate life jacket choice

Throwable PFD

An oar. Just in case.

My neighbor swears by Hot Sauce. Another neighbor down the block was a Star Brite man until he ran out this past summer, and borrowed the Hot Sauce from the other neighbor "until I can get to the store and buy the good stuff". He's told me he's now a convert. Between the two of them, I'm set for this summer, at least :p

Welcome to the club!
  • Boat Cover, it's worth every dime
  • Shocked they didn't include coastguard kit with the boat, so get the necessities
  • First aid kit comes to mind
  • knife as mentioned above
  • Fogging oil & Salt wash if needed for saltwater
  • Flush kit if wasn't provided
  • Fenders and clips
  • Dock ropes
  • I bought a small plastic container to keep blankets and towels in that fits in the driver storage
  • Don't forget your canvas and cover spray (cheaper to maintain then replace)
