New here. First time yamaha jet boat owner. Owned many others. Got a deal on the boat that was too good to pass
up. 1 owner kept under cover for all but one year less than 50 hours according to owner.

That looks like a great, check out getting a YDS to check the engine hours and codes, it's worth the $100 to have one if you ever need to trouble shoot,

If you change your own spark plugs be careful with #3, it has a history of being seized and can easily snap off while trying to remove it.

also, be sure to look at the FAQ tab at the top of the page for lots of great ideas and tips for your boat,

I bought the yds and read through the 5 pages of a thread about it. Cannot get mine to Communicate with either engine. Switched to com port 1 and still no luck.

Changed the plugs. Can't believe they all came out easily. Previous owner never had the boat serviced since new. Neither engine would run below 4000 rpms before plug change.

Changed the oil 4 times to flush out the nasty old oil and have clean synthetic in it now.
