I’m looking at buying a 2006 Yamaha at 230. I’m wondering if anyone knows if there’s a wake boost kit that will fit that boat? Also any advice on the purchases would be helpful. Asking price is 19,000 and the boat from the pics looks extremely well maintained.

Price is just OK if it's well maintained, maybe a little on the high side. search the FAQ on the 230 forum sections, most common issues are listed there. Solid water test and 45+MPH at 10,000 RPM + Compression test would be a good health check for the boat. Trailer condition and understanding when it was last serviced, specially wheel bearings go bad on long trips after lack of maintenance, and the wheel hub, bearing, rim and tire go flying off. Make sure that's not you. relatively easy and cheap to service/replace trailer bearing, just needs to be done every few years. a trailer doing 10 minute trips on weekends for 12 years gets on the Hwy for 4 hours...no service ever...wheels go flying off.

Best of luck on your search!
