New to this forum, but I thought I'd start out by sharing the video I made of my family's boat/road trip to Northern California this summer. I hope you like it!

Thanks! I got a notice from Bruce on the Vimeo site asking me to join over here, I look forward to meeting some other boaters out here. We just too the boat out into the ocean yesterday and chased dolphins and saw a couple whales. Glad you liked the video!

Thanks all! Yes, Lake Tahoe is so clear, it was the only place I could film the boat and jet drives from underwater...

Nice video! Love that clear water! What type and length pole are you using for your GoPro?

Todd, I use the free software that comes with the GoPro.

Julian, I used the GoPole, it was the longest pole I could find. I think it's 3 feet? Make sure you have the lanyard around your wrist before filming underwater, i totally lost my grip on it a couple of times...

Okay, thanks. Wasn't aware software came with it, haha. I DID however download the GoPro app for my smartphone. You can control the camera (on/off) and view and delete your videos right off the camera.

Yes, it's called GoPro studio, and it's actually pretty easy to use if you spend a few minutes watching the tutorial videos.
