Hello, Ordered a 2015 242 Limited S today. It's done! Hopefully we will meet you in Mount Pleasant, SC waters one day. Pick it up this Monday. Now will order all the extras need. I did find out that this ~June the Connext will have a upgrade for a GPS chart plotter. So I need a chart plotter to fill the gap as a recommendation. Not being familiar with the water in charleston, SC I will not go out without one.

Awesome! It is such a nice boat. We hope to check out coastal SC sometime. If you want a change of scenery, be sure to road trip to lakes on our side of the state like Murray, Keowee and Jocassee. Enjoy!

I also agree with @Bruce....navionnics has been great & with the upgrade coming I definitely wouldn't spend the $$ on a seperate unit...just make sure to keep a charging cable in the boat...the only time I had an issue is when I let my phone die & didn't hav a cable :/

Well done. Congrats. Wish I was picking up mine Monday. It's sitting at the dealer behind a wall of snow. First I've heard of the Connext upgrade. Great news. Did you get any more details on what the upgrade entails, cost. etc?

Just a quick question. I am in the process of buying a 2015 242 Limited S. I am leaning towards the black. I am just curious how bad are the water and salt spots when it dries?

While I cannot answer your question, as you are in salt water, I know there are members who will help you on this.
