These are the early type that are bolted to the nozzles. They were on a 2009 212 so the 04 should be the same but i am not for sure on the 12 model.

@Jgorm The "Ultimates" are spring loaded and adjustable. I have them and they work great. They are dirty in the pic. and not for sale. I will be adding Mega Fangs bought in Dec. soon. Just posting this FYI.

Those were an early system Not the ORIGINAL ones though, but I probably still have install instructions around for some of the earlier systems including those and possibly the hardware stashed away if you need them. The picture was of the very first type I built for a member of the old web page who loaned me his boat to make the very first set many years ago.

I used the Original in the header because i was searching for some used ones and came across some on a sale page of some kind and they stated that they were Original Cobra Jet Steering and the picture was crappy and they turned out to be something someone had fabed up in a shop...so i was just making sure it was understood when glanced at that they were the real thing.

No problem funny how time flies and products change . Yes they will work on his boat and they will give a full range of steering from slow to W O T. I believe once you get the Ultimates and fangs on your boat you will see a big difference from the earlier sets like these to the newer designs though

It never ceases to amaze me with all the information at peoples finger tips they never seem to understand that it is illegal to sell, offer for sale OR "USE "anyone's intellectual property I E patented products "U S E" as in for your own use! Not legal. at all but you can hang them on a wall and look at them if you want LOL
And when you tell people that they want to argue and wine like a child I didn't sell them, Oh well! Although in your case they were trying to sell them, I had a person send me a set of fake steering once for me to repair them I do believed they really did not know the parts were pirated .
