Found one pic of mine, from 2016.
Iā€™m going to look at it this weekend and reassess. I fixed so many little things in this freaking boat, hard to keep track, lol.

Called Yamaha. They said yep, weā€™ll grind it out and see. If thereā€™s an air void weā€™ll fix it. If thereā€™s not a void than itā€™s your fault, because you did something to cause it.

I said the most stress this area has seen is from floating or walking past it.

They said it could happen from being tied up to other boats, banging into docks, jumping onto the boat...

I said sure it could, but this area is protected from boats and docs...

They said... šŸ–•šŸæ, sit and spin because itā€™s your fault, we never do anything wrong, especially customer service. Thanks you inbred sh!t bag.

ā€œjumping onto the boatā€ ??? Really?? - good to know how fragile they consider their boats to be.

My dad bought a Barracuda 19' and the deck had a ton of gelcoat cracks. I'm not kidding a TON. They were going to grind it all out, gelcoat it again, and recreate the traction texture. He never went through with it because he didn't want to lose the boat for the time. 3 years later and now he wants to Seadek it. Just an FYI for those of you interested how other manufacturers handle these gelcoat issues. His was extreme though - I would've returned the boat and asked for a new one. My dad was happy to show the boat .. I boarded the boat, looked down and said "WHAT THE **** IS THAT?!" he hadn't even noticed it lol..

Checking if anyone on this thread has any insights on these cracks. Today I went to wash the boat and the trim stickers were pealing from the sun. When looking closer and removing the stickers I noticed multiple cracks. Any insights on how to repair the gel coat since this is out of warranty?
