Rebuilding Minn Kota Powerdrive worth it?

Hi there! I just bought my first boat (2018 FSH 210) and loving it so far. It came with a Minn Kota Powerdrive 60" 70#. After taking it into the water, I found out that the prop was not moving. I finally got it apart and found that there was a crack in the shaft where it connects to the lower assembly, letting in a ton of water. Instead of trying to fix the motor, I pulled the trigger on a Minn Kota Riptide Terrova.

Now I am trying to decide what to do with the old motor... I could try to part it out or rebuild it by replacing the shaft and lower assembly. Which would run around $70 for a shaft and~$300-350 for the lower assembly. How much are these going for used? Worth the time and money?

New I have seen them in the $800-$900 range. Used you might get half of that.

Seems that the more common parts to fail are foot pedals and the rotational motor. So buying a parts unit may be possible. Or seeling for parts as well. Good luck.
