New here so please excuse my ignorance. New owner to a 2019 Yamaha 242 x E series. New to jet boats period. Was working on the boat and noticed white port side motor running, I bumped reverse and the starboard bucket dropped. Starboard motor was not running at the time. Decided to start both engines and it appears the reverse buckets are switched. As I said new to the boat so no clue. Is that correct for this boat with the electronic reverse system. If not ideas to fix. Boat is low hours and don’t know the service history. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

:Welcome:
Could just be wires swapped on the bucket control module? The only time it would matter is if you're using the throttles in opposite movement to get some spin, otherwise both buckets would still move up/down together. Perhaps someone with the E series can chime in.

Well if the wires are correct and they probably are since its most likely in a pinned harness plug, it can be that the cables are just installed in the wrong spot in the actuator box. Would require just taking the lid off and swapping cable positions.
