Just replaced the factory Rule 500 gph bilge pump (original locked up) and decided to dig deeper and install a secondary bilge pump by the factory transducer. I'll post install and parts if anyones interested. The screws for the basket lined up the the new Rule pump. So, first time filling the bilge with water to test the pumps on the trailer. I look under the hull to pull the plug and most of the rear screws holding the "ride plates" have slow drips of water...I almost had a heart attack. I never thought of checking for leaks this way before...kind of reverse. Its not stopping me from using the boat, but I know what my next project is..I ordered 3M 4200 and I'm going to try and remove the screws and reseal. Any other ideas or insight would be appreciated.

Side note: All of us having issues with a sporadic readings on our factory depth finder, this might help. I took pictures of model# for future possible replacement, but i took it apart and put it back in and seems to be working ok for now..

Happy Boating!

Damn! I hate to hear that. I don't have any advice but I am curious if just sealing the holes will do the trick. Wonder if there needs to b some kind of resin to protect the fiberglass like when fixing a gash in the hull..(?)
