Question. On my 2019 AR 195, Is there any benefit to installing the Riva Breather? If so, does it really increase odors and fumes? (Keep in mind this is a family boat) lol. I searched before posting but I really couldn't find any review / thoughts.

There’s no benefit to using a Riva Breather on your new AR195. It’s forced induction and any performance gain would be negligible and unnoticed.

The thought for using one is not for performance gain, but for keeping oil contaminated air from entering the intercooler and coating the inside with oil. This could in theory make it lose cooling properties.
I use a catch can type in my FZS
I have heard arguments on both sides of this issue

I took my stock intercooler out after 45 hours and there wasn’t a drop of oil on it. If the engine is running correctly, there shouldn’t be any oil buildup on the intercooler. But, I do agree that there’s two schools of thought on this.

Good info and thanks for the response. Am I correct to assume that installing it would create more odors and fumes?

I would think so as well. I would keep it stock on a boat
