I love my 195 open might even go to the 255 open since I like it so much. IF you did Yamaha 210 has some Nice stuff.

I think you get more bang for your buck with Yamaha. But scarab has got some nice bells and whistles. And they go faster.

If you are using for fishing the yamaha 195fsh is the way to go. The raw water washdown, the rod holders and the live well are all necessities. I would say the 195 open is a nicer pleasure boat though. How much is a scarab. my 195 fsh was around 40 out the door with aluminum trailer.

The scarab is 30K with 60hrs on the engine and standard trailer not aluminum.

msrp on my scarab was 59k I know the G model started in low 30s. But if you are going to enjoy it buy what you want unless you are hand and like doing your own upgrades. I do but it was the only one I could get my hands on and was spec'd to the max from 300hp motor to fishing package and etc. then I added another 5k in upgrades myself. but boat really is a do all boat
