Show me your Glastron so I'm not so lonely!

Some pictures snapped today of my new Glastron GTS207. Please forgive my housekeeping as the Boat Bling products haven't arrive and this weekend has been a frenzy of activity.

Ski Locker, with the gratis life jackets and anchor. No latch on the locker though, which is somewhat odd to me.

Speedometer

Tachometer with info center on the bottom for things like temp, engine temp, RPMs, mph, depth, hours, etc.


Lights and ignition to the right of the wheel

Throttle. It appears to be a universal unit as there is a spot for the trim switch.

Knobs to the left of the wheel

Sony radio and convenience receptacle.

Layered seating at the stern, engine hatch closed.

Cockpit view

Spotter section. I haven't found a real good spot for the fire extinguisher yet.

Engine cover open. I did notice that the Glastron's seemed to open further.

Looks like the hole is there for the latch. Bet it would be an easy instal

Center seat removed, makes a nice walk through, something I liked over the Scarabs.

Driver's side cup holder and hangin kill lanyard. None of the cup holders have drains. Considering drilling a hole in the bottom of them.


Rear seating cup holder. I was going to document them all, then got sidetracked.

Stereo remote on the rear deck. It also came with a wireless remote, but that will probably never make it to the boat.

Looking forward into the yard. The hoist is nearly together and ready to hit the water.

Finally got her hoisted and away from the beating the dock was giving the rub rail


All tucked in for the first night in the air. It is supposed to rain, so the covers went on as I didn't get to the canopy yet.
Gonna get some nicer letters too, but that can wait.

Yeah, it is just a finger hole. I am just wondering if it would bounce around. I may look into drilling for a latch.

It should be
Easy to add a latch to the locker. The wireless remote may come in handy if you are floating on a nearby tube when the boat is at anchor.

Looks like a great boat. I really like the old-school knobs on your dashboard. Nice touch. Glastron builds a nice boat, I've had two of them.

Thanks! I think Glastron describes the knobs as "unique" but I saw them referred to as retro also. They have a nice solid feel to them.
I found one was a bit loose (knob threads on post) so I may go through and Loctite them.

30% through the break in process. Currently computer limited to 7k rpms.
Still runs nice. Taking a bit to get a feel for steering at the low wake speeds.

So far I am not regretting anything, but I wonder about the Chaparal. LOL.

I've been looking real hard at a new GTS207 (that and the 203 vortex from chap). Probably not going to pull the trigger til next year though. Thanks for the pics, much better than the ones they provide! The closest Glastron dealer here doesn't have any, and simply invited me in to order a 2015 model.
