Hi! We are our on the water and felt a loss of power of the engine. Like running too many rpm given the speed.
Tested high speed and suddenly it is just 42. Everything looks normal, kept driving. Then this warning came up. For both engines!?

Does anyone of the fellow jetboaters have a clue what this could be?

Well the message we found out. We didn't reset maintenance timer

Weirdly, after we reset the timer, rpm and speed seems back to normal.

Actually, I would guess they were independent events. You likely got seaweed or something sucked up into the pump or blocking the grate in part--causing the high revs and loss of speed. Then you dinged the timer on the maintenance (which you reset). In the meantime, you stopped or the junk worked its way out of the pump and everything was back to normal.

Do you know the 'reverse move'? It can be handy in your area if you have that loss of power happen.

May I ask how you reset the maintenance timer ?
