anyone ever heard of adjusting the nozzles, which are turned in to "shape" a wake, anyone ever straighten them back out?

i was told that if you did this, you'd gain performance and it really wouldn't change the wake, has anyone tried this?

Already done on the newer model "surf" boats. They have a name for it, just can't remember. Seems the opposite. Performance wise you aren't moving any more water. Could clean up the wash. Somebody has probably tried it.

Exactly what I explained . There are a lot of posts from past years thus the search engine. When I send my steering for all the AK boats with twin engines I send instructions on aligning the nozzles and rudder and steering wheel and then add an extra 1/2 turn to each tie rod so the fins are angled in 1/8 of an inch on the leading edges to get the boat to track straight.
