Guys ('cause you ladies don't REALLY need a reminder ;)): MOTHER'S DAY is next Sunday May 11.

I'm half done. I went on Amazon last night and sent her a 4lb container of Jelly-Bellys and a 4lb container of individually wrapped Twizzlers: Mom's two favorite candies.

Mom's allergic to flowers but these will be even better in her eyes.

Now I've gotta take the kids out to pick up things for Chris. The tradition has become a Fleet-Farm run for each of them to choose a "garden-ornament" to give their mom. Picture a 4" plastic hummingbird on a long slender stick that you shove in the ground. They are cheap enough that the kids can use their own allowance (or pay me back on allowance day).

My gift to her will be a yummy breakfast after church at the Fredonia Family Dinner. Which reminds me - I've got to make reservations!

Best Money Saving Feature Ever!!! I wonder if there is a way to induce that allergy into other women? :rolleyes:
 
The Girl has no kids, but has houseplants she has named.......that's close enough to celebrate the day! Plus, even women without children can become real Mothers if you ignore this special trap, I mean day.......:thumbsup:
 
I'm gettin my wife a brand new, top of the line lawn mower. Self propelled of course. ;)
 
Don't buy a Dust Buster. I made that mistake just once.
