I’m curious if anyone here has put lights on their tower? I’m looking for something along the lines of low profile LED spot lights that would help with re-trailering and navigation at night.

I installed this on mine. Also check the law on your waterways, some doesnt allow you to use it while underway.

No drill install using this bracket. note I have to customize and drill the mounting bracket to work.

not sure if you can see but it’s on the top bar in the middle of the t top15289F0D-444F-46A7-B107-99F1ECF50C42.jpeg

I appreciate the info. Would you by chance have a picture of how you mounted these? I’m trying to figure out how those brackets work with the lights.

That looks great, but I don’t have that much clearance under my tower. I think we would be hitting it with our heads.

Loading on the trailer and while anchored would be the best use for that type of light. Using it while underway will blind other boaters and not allow them to see your bow lights therefor not knowing how your boat is positioned or which way it is moving.

Maybe install 2, one on each side where you wouldn't walk through?

I was just thinking about that but I’m just not sure. I’d really like to figure out a way to mount something like a 10” light bar on the tower, clear of the bimini top.

I dont have same boat as you so I wouldnt know, but if there is a break in bimini where you can install the clamp or direct bolt your light then you can do it. Other than that you need someone to work on your bimini canvas and create opening.

@Babin Farms that makes complete sense; I didn’t think about that aspect. I think I’ll do what @fatboyroy did. That should work fine for trailering.

I wanted a light I could put on and take off when not going to be out at night so I got this light bar and mounts - my tower is 1.875" diameter but you should order the proper diameter for yours. I wired a 12Vdc cigarette lighter plug (male) to the end of the wire - around 8' and just plug it into the 12V receptacle on the dash when I'm using the light. The clamps stay mounted on the tower so I can attach the light bar whenever needed. It only takes a couple minutes to install and I wrap the wire around the tower leading down to the receptacle. I don't have any pictures but it's a simple setup and works great.

Thats how I wired mine too but I used this for quick disconnect and I left like 6" wire in the LED that I can plug to the wire that goes to the cigarette lighter. When not using, I have the wire stored in my dry box.
