Has anyone made modified their trailer with a ladder or a step addition to access the bow?
I'm decided I need one as I'm constantly running around in circles when the boat is unhooked and stored....
Disadvantage is I've the black powder coated trailer so I don't want to mar it up.
Thanks in advance (shorty)

See a few Quality Mark brand ones around me. They look nice but are pricey.

Yup, that's the one. See it on bass boats more, so I would double check the height.

bow ladder of the boat?
Bow ladder for the Trailer.
I know the larger boats have entry/exit ladders, but on the smaller 19's and being vertically challenged it's more than an issue. Hooked up to the tow rig no problems, unhooked......

Yes, those are slick and elegant! I saw that as well and took several pictures hoping one one day I can custom make something similar but I would buy it if it exists somewhere? Does anyone know if this does?

I’ve been looking also, I don’t like coming over the bow and then tryin to balance myself on my spare tire with wet feet or flip flops when loading or unloading at the ramp. My wife helps a lot with all aspects of a day out on the boat but she does NOT do good with docking, loading up on the trailer or driving the truck with the boat. ( bless her heart )

Quick, cheap and easy solution has worked great on my trailer for years. Simply took a piece of aluminum, cut it and put a bend in it and bolted it on. It flexes a little obviously but it's plenty strong to put all my weight on. You could use steel if you want it stronger. The grip tape on the tongue really helps too.

I like the way that that looks. Also there is not really anywhere good to mount one on one of these 19’ swing tongue trailers.

The top of my winch is flat....I just bought some traction mat from Homedepot and put it on top of the winch and on the main frame of the boat. I'm 6'1" so not hard to make the step. The other thing I could do is deploy the bow ladder, but that is too much work!

Others on the forum have just welded extra steps on.

Here is something that was posted on another thread....not clear how we'd make it work:
