Hey my 2018 sx195 gave me this code 15 (52 1072). I’ve checked internet, only thing I could find is probably “engine temp sensor”

any help on the matter. Thanks

I swear every time I talk about Yamaha this issue comes up Yamaha's are vary sensitive to battery voltage..........My 2013 was throwing all kinds of CLE codes and as soon as I changed the battery(AMG) and installed a Battery charger maintainer ALL CLE codes went away......go figure and my story is not the only one......Yamaha's electronics are Vary Sensitive to battery voltage.

At lease its a place to start!! I would look at the Batt before changing any sensors.

I switched to a dual battery setup (a crank battery and deep cell battery) about a year ago. Also have an on board dual battery charger. Amps and voltage looks good.

I forgot to mention. I’ve have had her sitting with an oem cover for about 3 months. Took her out this memorial weekend and that’s when I got the code along with alarm reading check engine.

she ran great even the trouble code and check engine. However, half way through day the code/check engine went away, but then came back. When I got back home, while flushing engine no code/check engine. So I’m stumped
