The saga continues...

I have a sx190 2012 we have had for 5 years. 130 hours on the engine. Two months ago it sounded like it had a miss/ vibration. I changed the plugs thinking there may be a fouled one and gave it a goood look over.
All were in good condition.

Still sounded the same and it was at the very end of the Y.E.S so I had the yamaha dealer look at it. Diagnosis wear ring bulging from corrosion. Fast forward.. first it took them forever to look at it.
I replaced the wear ring myself. No problem.

Took it out tonight. Second time since replaced the wear ring. Thought I would change the oil. I did check the oil when I replaced the wear ring. Never been low or anything. Still seemed loud. But they are loud by nature. Did not check the oil this time before going out. As I was gonna change it. Quick in and out to let it warm up. Was doing a thorough clean and look around and there is water in the oil. My heart sank.

What to do now? I keep it in the boatel in Virginia Beach and place as the dealer. I do use it in saltwater. Flush every single time.

Of course warranty is out now.

Thoughts?

What did the oil look like? Milky?

is the oil milkish color?

When was the last time you checked the oil level?
When was the last time the oil was changed?

Wondering how water got in the oil? any other unusual issues that might let the water in?
Does the boatel flush or do you?
Does the boatel have drive your boat at all to store it?

Right now I think empty and refill the oil and run for a minutes, after a couple of times and the oil is less milky add a 1/2 qt of dextron 2 to help absorb the water in the oil

It was milky.

I change the oil once a year. I was late this year dealing with the wear ring.

I personally flush each time after running. We use the boat year round as there are many warm days here in the winter.

I checked the oil after finishing the wear ring before I ran it again. It was as usual. Not black or really dirty. Dedinetly not milky.

Boatel does not drive the boat. Goes straight to the wash rack and I flush. Engine on then water on. Water off then engine off.

I wonder if the exhaust sound has something to do with the oil issue?

Was it like cavitation when something is stuck in clean out port?

No cavitation. Clean out port clear.

Had the dealer on site change th oil multiple times and ran it on the hose. I could not get out of work today and did not want it to wait.
They got right on it. They will do an on water test this afternoon

Have you had the boat loaded with more people than the specified amount like at a boat raft up party?
