We have upgraded to Xenforo 1.4.2 - Which may fix some of the IOS8 issues

Looks like the upgrade went smoothly with no more than an minute or two of down time.

Normally I wait a few weeks to let other forums work through the bugs in new versions but this one states that it "Fixed assorted incompatibilities with iOS8" so I applied it the day of release.

I would be interested to hear how IOS8 is working for you guys that were having difficulty.

On a more serious note I noticed that my galaxy 5 would only put pictures that I upload at the top of the post and not where my cursor was.... and still not fixed...any suggestions on this? @Bruce


oh yeah I can also not tag people with a partial name when the box pops up on the galaxy 5

I just posted a pic in our moderator section in the middle of a post with no issue. I wonder if it has to do with the screen size? I tried using multi window mode (allows me to have multiple screens on the phone open) to squish the browser down as small as I can and it didn't matter.

To be clear on your steps to recreate:

1) Type some stuff in a post
2) Click on Upload a file, "Chose file", "My Files", and click on the O to chose your pic, click "Done"
3) Then click on the location within the post where you want the full image to appear (cursor is now blinking in that location)
4) Then click on either a) Insert every image as a... "Full Image", or b) the "Full Image" button next to the image (depends on if you have multiple or not).
5) Click on "Post Reply"

Also, what browser are you using on your phone? Chrome or Internet (Internet is Samsung's browser - not certain who makes it for them), I was using Internet version 1.5.28 (you can find this by holding your finger on the icon and then dragging it to "Info" - the same way you would drag it to remove it from a screen.

I just tested using Chrome, and the only difference is that Chrome gives me "Documents" vs "My Files" but posts everything else the same way.

Cool...not sure why your Samsung browser doesn't work ... but at least we have a work around.

I tried playing with multi window on my note 3 to see if I could drag and drop images...."Not Supported" is the result. Perhaps a future Droid version will support....

Quoting and uploading seem to work fine from IOS 8.02. It will be interesting to see what IOS 8.1 breaks tomorrow.

Quoting worked but when I accidentally highlighted text, I could not clear it off the screen by touching anywhere like normal.
