Pulled the boat out of the garage this weekend for some spring cleaning. Ran the engines for 5 minutes each off the hose to burn off the fogging oil, changed the oil (full synthetic), and filters (K&N). Greased the trailer and engines. Would have dropped the boat in the lake but only 1 of the 8 spark plugs showed up (amazon failed me) so instead I cleaned the hull. I used Meguiars three step process and my porter cable 7424XP. Very happy with the shine and smoothness achieved. Probably should do a mid-summer cleanup in the future. Still need to do the interior.

Then I decided to plasti dip my rims on my F-150. Super happy with the results. Easy product to use. Really want to do the boat trailer rims now, but might look silly with the galvanized trailer, probably the running boards on the truck too.

Looks good. I know some others have done the Plasti-Dip treatment to their galvanized trailers so maybe that is an option. The pics I have seen look great, but not sure how well it holds up over time.
