Weekend Wrapup

Friday, went to our local farmer's market and loaded up on veggies and fresh eggs. Usually Friday night is my unwind from the workweek.

Saturday, finished up the scraping and pressure washing inside a cistern at a second house we own. Basically a 10 x 10 x 10 box that is accessibly by a small manhole in the floor of the porch. Saturday evening, finished a setup on a guitar for a friend of mine. Made a killer goat cheese pizza for dinner on the BGE.

Sunday, Started patching a few places in the cistern along with skimming the entire side that is adjacent to an interior wall with hydraulic cement. Next weekend will be Friday/Saturday/Sunday painting the inside with Sunny Dry to finish it off. The mrs made quinoa, egg, and cheese stuffed peppers for dinner.

As far as boating, all I did was look longingly at her in the driveway.

Boated much of the day on Saturday and was lucky to be fed by @bronze_10 at the Police Explorers BBQ he was at on Falls Lake! Thanks again Mike! Discovered the Sportstuff Bandwagon Tube (of course the only one we took out) has a hole in it....so less tubing than the kids would like.

Got a call that my Dad had a heart attack....he is ok....going in this morning for cardiac cath. Spent time on the phone with family....considered flying to Tampa....didn't.

Sunday...fixed the tube and did chores around the house....(played a little Farpoint VR and Battlefield on the PS4)....researched flights to Tampa.....

My wife found out her mother was in near constant afib .. she drove the 7 hours to her moms house and it made the world of difference for her mom... go to tampa!

Glad he is ok..
