Friday, made a run to Sams Club. Friday evening is typically our wind down from a busy work week.

Saturday, went to the yearly big neighborhood near our house garage sale. Found an inflatable and a wakeboard on the cheap.

Scored a sweet brand new (skate) longboard and a pogo stick for the grandkids and the dog got this nifty pup trailer. I'm under strict orders to stay off the skateboard and pogo stick. All this stuff was dirt cheap. In the afternoon we took the dog for a bike ride in his new trailer. Not sure he liked it :). (Here's a pic when we found it at the sale).

Sunday, most of the day was spent cutting grass and doing some other chores around the house.

How was your weekend?

I spent some time this weekend cutting grass/lawn care also. Then tedding, raking and then baling. Running out of good days for doing this, this summer. Making hay while the sun shines, boating will have to wait until I finish this afternoon.

Nothing related to boating, just necessary chores keeping me from it. Willow on the other hand spent her weekend on the lake, taking sailing lessons at the International Sailing School, next to our marina.

Split wood for my in-laws Friday night and Saturday afternoon. Mowed the lawn Saturday morning. Installed the remaining SeaDek on the swim platform Sunday morning, and worked in the yard and on the pool in the afternoon. This weekend will be boating and then pulling the pontoon boat and docks out of the water in the Adirondacks, and other end of summer tasks. Hoping for a couple more weekends on the finger lakes...

Boating was rained out for us on Saturday so we took the kids bowling! man is was my arm sore (and back and wrist...) Sunday I taught the in-laws how to turn their smart phone into a hot spot for their vacation in a few weeks,

Did odd jobs around the house and then a couple of hours of log splitting on Sunday as it was cooler in Raleigh and the pile had been looking at me all summer. Got it done and stacked! (thank god for the log splitter!)

Got a day to myslef on Saturday we had a heat wave so i drove to the only cable park i know of in Ncal, Wake Island, to do some wakeboarding before doing some indoor surfing nearby at Xtreme Surfing. We Boated three days straight last week so boating was not even an option.

I may add pics later but i have determined that i dont like the cable park wakeboarding as much as i do wakeboarding behind a boat. I'm not a big fan of indoor surfing or surfing either but this weekend the people infront of me finished half way through my hour so i had the entire wave / room to myself for 30 minutes straight. I got tired and bored after 20 mins. so i ended my session 30 mins Early.

Sunday i biked 18 miles with my wife in the heat of the late morning and pretty much passed out the rest of the day.

Friday went spent all day after work driving to Shelbyville where our camper was. Got there and went over and hung out with some friends. I went in early but the wife stayed up until 4. Got up the next day for a fun filled day of surfing, rafting up and hanging out. Got back to the camper early to set up the projector to watch the Mayweather/McGregor fight. Had the same boating crew over for that. Went back out Sunday for some more watersports and got back home at 9 at night. It was a good weekend!!!
