I wonder what's driving the variations. At 42-43 mph, I do have a trolling motor and batteries (240 lbs), 3/4 full fuel (225 lbs), T-top(150 lbs est), and 2 people (360 lbs). I'm getting 7800 & 8000 rpm. I've adjusted jets to spec, throttles full open. Elevation 800'. Wind & water calm.

The only thing I dont have installed yet is the trolling motor and batteries. However, the wife and i were on lake Erie all weekend and we had our Yeti 65 fully loaded at about 100 lbs., luggage for the weekend, 50lb. Tackle box, tons of poles etc. I would say we were pretty loaded for a weekend on the water and I tried it in Sandusky Bay in a smooth spot and we hit 46.2. Not sure what all may be the variations, but I still wish it had some more power! The other thing is yesterday when I hit 47 we were at 100% fuel. On Saturday at 46 we were at about 70%. I plan on taking my hand held GPS next time to compare all figures.

I figure that, the salinity of the water or lack of it, windage of the t-top. I thought the deluxe would be faster without the t-top.

Also the hull attitude - for example placing any significant weigh in the bow will drop top speed precipitously.
Also - hull condition, even tiny bit of scum/growth on the hull will drag the speed down like crazy.
Humidity is a big factor, too.
Slight chop is usually the fastest, as far as water conditions.

That seems like a great number at almost one mile elevation, fully loaded. I ran slightly faster than that with a similar load full fuel at 850’ elevation. Bravo.

Slower on the GPS
After 40 hours it slowed to about 40 did 100 hr service will let you know tomorrow. Dealer said plugs would be the reason
Port would only go to 7200 rpm.
Hit the big 50 once 47 a few times but not often.

Will have to take a pic of the tell tale on the screen but the boat thinks we did 52.x mph on Lake Travis (210 Deluxe). That would have been with the sales guy piloting with me and the Wife on the test ride. I generally stay between 25-35 usually cruising at 27.

Anyone else have a Ridesteady installed? I put my in two weeks ago (for the purpose of modulating speed for towing and syncing engine RPM it works like a dream). However this week after initial 10 Hour Oil Change, I've gone from top seed of 50 - 52 MPH (paddlewheel/ 48 Rideshare GPS) to a dismal 42 MPH on Paddlewheel and 38-39 MPH on Rideshare. I'm moderate elevation (295 MSL) on lake water. Any ideas on what could cause such a drop? Wind conditions have been similar or worse before this.

Did the dealer do the service?
Mine slowed down after the 10 hour service also I wonder if they do it with a computer or something. Pretty constant 42
I think it went up when I changed the plugs but has come down again to around 42. I think current helps sometimes 43 or 44.
Paddle wheel is always faster than GPS.

@Liveto99 - Boat is in a fairly remote area so Dealer sent oil change kit and I did myself. Didn't change plugs as I would be pretty dissappointed if I had to do that at 10 Hour service. Was really pumped about initial 46 to 49 MPH because this was typically speed of my old 23 foot Ranger CC with a 25 Outboard.
Anyone see trim tabs improving speed?

Trim tabs will do nothing for your top speed, except lower it if they’re deployed. Honestly, I have never heard of a 210FSH doing those numbers. 44-45 indicated on speedo (meaning 42-43 tops GPS) is the norm from what I’ve seen. I am lucky to hit 42 on the speedo at 71 hours. I’m planning to reseal my pump tunnels, as I seem to get some cavitation on acceleration, MAYBE that will help though I doubt it. If you aren’t hitting 7800-8000 RPM at max speed I’d make sure your oil isn’t overfilled.
