Wiring an garmen 44cv gps

Can anybody help looking to wire an garmen gps to my scarab 195. where do I wire the power wire at for power the wire they supply is too short for. The battery I'm thinking someone behind the helm. any help greatlly apperated

The best bet is to put a fuse box behind the console and run wiring to the battery to power it. Then you can power the garmin off the fuse box. I couldn't find his original thread but @Benny Sibbitt did the same thing and replied on an electrical question I had in this thread below with the full details of the install. I followed suit and it has worked out perfectly for me and even has given me additional options down the road to add new accessories.
