Greetings all and thanks for advise in advance. yamaha 232 limited drives good at high speed for around fifteen minutes and suddenly bugs down. i disconnect the sensors and boat works goood. replace all sensors and thermostat and problem arises. research on various sites suggest changing the spark plug. i haven't tried that but will this weekend.. any other suggestions will be greatly be appreciated.....

glad to have you on board, be sure to check out the FAQ tab for items like your scupper, cleanout plugs and careful removal of your #3 spark plug,

Do you get any warning lights flashing under your tachs? it almost sounds like it's overheating and going into limp mode,

What sensors exactly are you disconnecting?
Are you getting good water flow from your pee hole indicators?

Do you possibly have an exhaust leak inside the engine compartment? Those will cause your engines to slow down when the exhaust fills the area and gets pulled in the intake.

I always forget about this one! run the engines with the hatch open to keep fresh air available and see if the problem duplicates

Fellow members, thanks for the advise. I've been dealing with personal issues but haven't been able to try your remedies. I am somewhat concern about the sparkplugs and are thinking about running the boat and getting the engines hot and then try to take the sparkplugs out..any thoughts?

On the plugs, as you try to remove them if any of them resist turning, "STOP" and spray some w d 40 or similar penetrating oil in the hole with the plug , then turn the plug back down and then reverse it until it resists again then repeat the oil and the retightening until this process removes the plug. If you try to turn it when it resists you will most likely break off the plug.
