Are you in salt water or freshwater? Do you have a warranty still? Can you manually turn the bucket off the rear to look at the steering cable? Take a peak behind the steering wheel in the helm storage area to see if all the connections on the steering are good.

Freshwater no more warranty all cables looked good to me
