Texas/Oklahoma area Gathering this summer at Broken Bow July 25th weekend

Does anyone know the rate for the cabins pictured?

Does anyone know the rate for the cabins pictured?

Prices are online at http://www.oklahomabedandberth.com/Rates

A 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom with a fold out couch is around $200 a night. Weekdays are less expensive. I am assuming that over a weekend is best for most? Weekdays are as good or better for us. They have units that sleep up to 18 people.

That is steep for me. However, I could always find alternative lodging if we did a Lake Murray gathering.

Those prices are much more reasonable for me.

With no hesitation, the floating cabins are incredible. The cost, for just me, is steep. With no kids, etc, $200 a night is hard to justify.

Dan, Texoma is still my favorite lake.

Texoma did not have water this year, will it next year?

Texoma is low. It has water.

Who knows? It just gives us more beach area. Texoma is very doable, especially in our boats. We'll be on it Labor Day weekend.

Texoma absolutely had water this year and like most lakes in Texas, it was low. Then again, Broken Bow also appeared to be low to me. Ray Roberts was about 8 feet low and poses no issues as it too is a steep walled lake. It is very speculative to choose a lake based on past years lake levels.

X4 on Texoma! Lake Murray sounds fun, but only the "pods" are going to be affordable unless you split the cost. I don't see my wife wanting to share her privacy when she is tired and ready for bed, so sharing even the $260/night cottages will cost me $520 plus taxes for a two night weekend. I doubt this will fly for many, even as cool as it is. I want to do it, but it will have to be when family comes and can share in the cost.

Now, how about this coming weekend...anyone up for a day and evening on Ray Roberts? I am thinking Saturday!

Looks like you guys had a good time. I'm heading up there this afternoon to stay in a cabin with some old friends for the weekend. Borrowed a boat from one of my employees so that we can go out on the lake, haven't been on the water since last summer. Hopefully by next year I will be back in the boat owning business!

Sounds like a good time and good plan @Silverfish !

@jawsf16 ever get a chance to check out the pics you guys took? Was wondering how the sub move pics turned out.

@farrelltravis been so busy at work. I have them and will post them up soon. We got some great shots. Just have to find some free time.
