AR220 vs AR250 tower Navigation light

Anybody know why the AR250 tower navigation / anchor light is different then the AR220? They look to be the same exact tower. The AR250 has the nav/anchor light built into the wake tower pull point but the AR220 has a separate nav / anchor light on the front tube of the tower that looks to fold up and down. Seems silly and just another thing you have to work around when you want to deploy the bimini top.
