I have a 2005 4tec seadoo with about 70hours on it. Winterized last year, changed oil, fìlter, plugs, fuel stabilìzer and cleaned throughly. At beginning of use thìs year it was ridden about 30 to 40 minutes started to smoke and the oil alert went off. Immediately shut down and very very slowly pulled a short distance in. I filled it with oil started it smokes and uses oil from full to below add in one minute or less. It is no codes. I have always used seadoo oil, filter. Noticed solenoid at engine top end (like pvc system) is not working. It has 12volts to it. But if you jump 12v separate to it it works. Can this cause oil use like this. HELP !!

Replace the solenoid if you know it's bad.. Also, pull the spark plugs and see what they all look like.

pull the spark plugs and see if there is oil on them. Also pull the hose to your super charger if you have one. oil can sometimes leak in there.

also, check the bottom of the inside of your hull for oil, under the engine, to see if youre leaking it or burning it.

a sign of burnt oil is blue-ish smoke. If thats the case, you could have worn out piston rings.

Thank you for your help. Plugs show oil burning and its blue smoke. No ĺeaks inside hull. Just was trying to make sure solenoid can do this. Also issue with direct 12 volts works solenoid, but 12voĺts from jet ski wiring doesnt. Again Thank You
