Heading out to buy a second 2008 (other is 2007) SX230 today mainly for the trailer and other parts. I will be disposing of the titled hull at some point in the near future. After disposal I will have the Galvanized dual axle trailer to sell. I know that prices on trailers vary from region to region but if yall can give some insight as to what the value of these galvanized stock trailers are these days that would be helpful. The 2007 SX230 boat came with the title and stock trailer but unfortunately it had traded hands too many times with open paperwork on it so the title for the trailer was lost along the way. The original owner was not interested in dealing with it to get a replacement title so this one will be bill of sale only
. I know some states don't title trailers and others may not even require registration to be road legal but Houston Texas does. Of course I could just strap a different trailer plate to it and take my chances (which are very good chances in TX) but I'd rather not (hence buying the second damaged boat for the trailer price... And it's aluminum).
If anyone cares to share their pricing experience opinion on a non titled or titled galvanized dual axle for these I would appreciate it so I can use that as a sales price target'ish. Please include your state as well (prices vary wildly by state I would bet). Thanks in advance.
