Work has been slow and I was given Monday off and Tuesday is my normal day off so I figured I'd head down to Key Largo.

I found a place that allows trailer parking and is offering a weekday special.
Figured I'd turn a day trip into a 2 day stay and see more of the reefs in Key Largo with my two boys.

It will be a shake down for trip to Sanibel in August.

Anyone local interested.

Got gladiator gased up and picked up Xtra 20 gallons for boat at $4.28/gal.

Heading out tomorrow around 9sm and lauching st Sunset rd public ramp for free.
Everywhere else it 20 in and 20 out.

Going south Bayside through toilet bowl channel to Islamorada inlet passed whale harbor.
Then it's a left to alligator reef.

It will be about 50 mile run.
Charging up gopro

Hope someone chimes in

Water is so clear.
It's a hot day

Did you go to Grecian Rocks?

I stayed mostly at North Dry Rocks. I was going to stop at Grecian or do French but one on sons got sea sick as waves were rocking boat. I cruised and anchored at Rodriguez Key and hung out there before heading back to ramp.

How did the Jeep do pulling? Fuel [HASH=536]#’s[/HASH]?

I have the 3.6L V6 6sp manual version.
I get 15-16mpg under normal driving conditions and fill up with 18gallons if I am on fumes then I fill up with 20gallons.

When I tow it drops down to about 13mpg.

Cool,
just got a 2021 Sahara unlimited with the 2.0 turbo. It’s pretty awesome. 26.5 mpg on first 125 mile trip. 23 around town.
but I drive slowly, lol… putting a hitch on it today. Will advise how it does piling the 212x or triple ski trailer..
