Anybody frequent this place? It's really nice, and easy access to the bay. Few Yamahas in the marina, a 242 Limited S, '18 190 something, and an FSH that I saw yesterday.

Yup. We go there almost every other weekend during the summer. We prob wont go there this Saturday since it will prob be busy. But we do plan on hitting pebble beach this Saturday (just down the Mullica toward the Ocean)

Worst part about boating that far up the Mullica is the stumps.

Pebble Beach

Usually 3 of with Yammis... (My 210, red 212 and an AR192)

Ah cool, thanks for the coordinates. I remember seeing that a couple times last year, but everytime it was packed. Does that beach only come out at low tide, or is it reachable all the time?

We definitely want to spend more time on the mullica this year (and out in the bay, as well).

Its there at high tide, but only 1.5'-2' of walking "beach" is there before the woods line. Usually a foot back into the woods, poison ivy does grow. So its not ideal at high tide. But....no bugs there at all! Thats always a plus.

From there, its only a smooth 20-25 min boat ride to Great Bay. We alternate (depending on the tides of course) between Pebble Beach, a few sand bars near the entrance to Tuckerton Creek and Brigantine Cove. If you havent been to Brigantine Cove, its def worth the trip. From Sweetwater to Brigantine on boat is about 45-55 mins.

Breezes is another great dock & dine and not too far from Sweetwater. Live music, great seafood and and all around good atmosphere.

Any coords handy for Brigantine Cove? I think we might try to head that way on Saturday. If we can figure out how to make the bridges open for us, lol.

I had a close call one night leaving sweetwater. I think the latest they will open the bridge is 11pm.

Brigantine Cove

The Cove doesn't allow open beverages on ground. So if you drink alcohol, either use a solo cup or stand in the water. lol All the times we have been there, ive never actually seen a tickets given, but figured id give you a heads up.

Also, this area can be dicey if your not paying attention.

Its called Black point and the channel markers are confusing. I'm sure you will see at least 1 big boat stuck there.

Across from Brigantine Cove, is Gardener's Basin. Great restaurants there. Our favorite is Back Bay Ale House

That's awesome man, thanks for the details!

Yeah thanks for the info, where is the furthest up the Mullica you can launch? I’ve heard rumors of somewhere just south of The Pic on Route 206

I’ve never ventured past Sweetwater. Serious stump situations I’m sure.
But I have seen boats coming from up the Mullica while we were at SW eating.

Pretty sure that's kayak-only depth. I think Sweetwater is the ramp furthest inland. Gets shallow in a hurry, then turns into tree stump city.

Thanks for the information. Which sandbar by tuckerton creek? The one in front of the old CG station?

Here it is. It’s east of 7 bridge rd where the 5th bridge creek comes out.

Thanks. Maybe we’ll see you out there.

E8244CE7-B0FB-41D5-8574-8A07D309A2F3.jpeg We spent the majority of Saturday at Pebble Beach. Great Saturday for boating!

Do you have a keelguard on? We eyeballed that yesterday in the morning, looked pretty rough.

Also, sorry to keep bothering with questions - any areas you recommend for wakesports? Most of the mullica seems too narrow and too busy. We found a good spot in the bay yesterday, but the biting gnats were swarming - we lasted about 10 minutes before we had to get moving again. We're thinking about slipping at Sweetwater next year, so really trying to get the lay of the land and options before we make a commitment.

Yeah I have a keel guard. We got to pebble beach around noon or so. We were like the 4th boat there.

As for wakesports in the bay, I found Rose Cove to be best so far. And Rose Cove beach is like gem hidden in the open. Nice whitish sand and no ones ever there.

When I take the ski out to go tubing with the kids, we go to Rose Cove. Plus it’s real close to where I launch from.

Your kinda tucked under Parkertown Dock St. once in a while there are stakes out from the local fisherman. But they keep them very close to the Cove.

Jeff, Where do you launch from when heading to Rose Cove?

I typically launch from Parkertown Dock st which is just north of Rose Cove.
