Check out this guys hatch rebuild…

My tank cover on my 2010 212x is getting super squishy in some areas. I have snow camo seadek on the whole thing and getting that replaced would be difficult. I'll see if I can either start this process or have a good fiberglass guy do it for me.

You shouldn't have to replace the sea deck if your doing this project and I'd just do it myself as long as its not going to be seen. Watch some videos on doing fiberglass, figure it out and you should be good to go. Doesn't really matter what it looks like as long as it gets the job done.

You don’t need to touch the top area, I would protect it with plastic and tape. Flip it over and go to town

I need to do this to our boat, it is 2006 without the removable hatch so I need to cut the deck out.

Here is an article with some replacement options for marine grade plywood.
This is something I only want to have to do once so preventing rot is imperative and cost on the sheet is not.

Nice work. Is that marine grade plywood?
For something like that hatch there is no reason to pay for marine grade.

any exterior grade ply will work.
