    AR195 Stickers

it was a piece of cake I just used my finger nail to start the decal off slowly and then if I ran into a spot that was a little harder to get off I used a quick blast of the heat gun 12 inches away and constantly moving for about 20 -30 seconds and voila they came off so easy. Then just hit any...

    Sound Deadening Sx190 / AR190

Yes the '18 is quieter it appears they reworked the engine compartment just a bit to stop the engine noise from travelling up the side compartments and it makes a difference. Don't get me wrong its not quiet but I have never been on a quiet boat except when using a trolling motor. IMHO Yamahas...

    Sound Deadening Sx190 / AR190

We went from a '13 SX190 to a '18 SX195 and it is an amazing difference in sound and feel. The '18 is just a better build and the noise level is quite noticeable. Whatever you choose be aware folks on here have had some adverse things happen when they attempted to sound deaden their boats...

    Decals <where to find for 2008 SX230>

The decals will differ in how difficult or easy they are since you have a 12 yr old boat. I would start with my fingernails and see if you can get one up and going, if you can they should peel off, you can also use Goo gone decal remover, but if they fray or chip when you get it going you may...

    No neutral

When you say the bucket moves to the reverse position do you have a pic of the position? The neutral position is pretty close to the reverse position about a 2 inch difference. I would first check the engine shut off lanyard and reset it, then try a restart if that doesn't work the check the...

add ons when buying a new boat

:Welcome: to the best darn forums on the ole interwebs! Normally I would say have them throw in a warranty, a boat cover, USCG equipment. But with the way the boat market is today and hopefully by OCT it will improve from a buyers standpoint. But you may be stuck with whatever the MSRP is and a...

    Gel coat/hull repair tips

Have you tried to push in under the gelcoat to see if the glass has been damaged? If its soft underneath I would suggest a pro do the repair. Unless of course you are comfortable with doing fiberglass and then gelcoat repairs. If its just gelcoat it maybe worth a shot.... white is a bit...

Boatless and waiting for 2021 line up

No experience with Freedom Boat Club in TX but its where we got the bug in FLA! When we first joined it was quite disjointed and unprofessional then John Giglio took over a 2011 and 2012 things took a dramatic turn for the better! If you are thinking about getting a boat in the near future I...

    AR192 2014 winning

Like @jgourlie said, also look at the tunnel just to make sure you don't have something small in the impeller.

    2018 SX190

So did you take the boat back home or did you let them do the service? If they did the service then I would think you thought the service was worth it. That said, maintenance is always an owners choice, just like a car or truck, some folks choose to take it to the shop and others choose to do...

    2019 AR195 WOT only 6800rpm

You also may want to check your throttle cable to make sure it is moving to the stopper. Also take a peek in the tunnel to see if you need to silicone to prevent cavitation.

    Stoltz bow roller

That roller is what we use for our SX195 I agree with @jmargo the 4 inch RP-446 is what you need.

    Advice/Expertise on Jet Boat

@Dean P is a Chap owner he has great insights on the boats. Before we came back to Yamaha after we sold our first we looked at the Chaps and loved the fit and finish, the only concern we had was there was a run there on the carbon seal and some folks had some pretty bad things to deal with...

Engine turns over, but will not fire

Without knowing what type of troubleshooting you have done, check your kill switch under the rear deck, check/reset you kill switch lanyard up at the throttle, check/retighten all battery connections. The check engine light, did you attempt to see what type of error code it shows in your LCD...

    Spot on vinyl - suggestions?

I hate those type of stains/spots but I've learned that they will fade in the sun and be gone before you know it. If you want to try a good cleaner try this one that @haknslash recommends: VIDEO
