I got $3,000 for my 04 Eagle trailer last fall. Painted steel, dual axle trailer for my crownline so it was a 10K trailer I think.

Spring has Sprung in PCB!! Show some pics!!

We made it down for Monday's fireworks. Put in at City marina (dang, that ramp is tight with the drop off at the end!!) and ate at Bayou Joes. Food was awesome, and well priced! Then crossed the bay to get into the lagoon for the fireworks!

Spring has Sprung in PCB!! Show some pics!!

@Coheeba, is the North Lagoon bridge the one where 98 comes across? From PCB to PC? We may be headed over there tomorrow for the fireworks and trying to find a good spot to put in (Im sure the city marina will be nuts) and anchor to watch. Any suggestions?

What are the cool things to do for the 4th of july weekend? I've heard the Blue Angels do a show in Pensacola, but is it worth the trip by water? What about fireworks, etc?

    Show us your tow rigs!

Thanks Matt. I looked and labored for a long time on what offset to go with. As you go with more offset you bring in rubbing/clearance issues, but mine were't too bad. My stock wheels were a +44 offset and tucked in the fender quite a bit.

Suggestions for driving through a ditch

Keep in mind that as you drive thru here, both in dry and muddy conditions, you will create a rut that will start to hold water and look bad. I'd maybe put pavers or something in there to fill the hole, but not sure water would move around them very well. It looks like a small area so bring...

Where do you ground your amp(s)?

On boats you have to ground at the battery. Make sure your power and ground wires are the same size, and length to avoid noise interference, and keep them both away from your signal wires (RCAs) as best you can

    BUYER BEWARE!!!

I looked into them last fall when I was replacing my Steel trailer due to our move to FL. Their price was ok, but I found a local dealer that was just a little bit more expensive. I went with the local place so I had somewhere to go with issues. Didn't ask for anything up front either! I'd...

    Relocating to Florida

We moved from KY to NWFL last year and loving it. Great schools, communities, etc. Where you land really depends on what price point you are shooting for and how close you want to be to the gulf or bay.

Air show sounds fun. May have to head that direction tomorrow as well. How crowded does it normally get passed the bridge?

Best way to ground an amp

What abut your RCAs? Are they of good quality? They should not run by your power/ground either. Only cross at a 90* angle if necessary

Submerging the Trailer when launching and loading boat

your trailer fills with water anyway, so having it fill more shouldn't be an issue as long as you are not getting your brake resevior under water. that'd be my only concern aside from your electrical connection to your truck
