    New from Cincinnati

Welcome! If you decide to go new, I'd hold out for the 2015s. To many changes to make the price difference worth while

I thought this was interesting on a slow moving Monday morning...

I wonder which steering system they went with...

    stereo question

It would, but for tower speakers would it really matter? You don't really benefit from left/right when you're behind the boat.

    Stero upgrade question

What will you drive the subs with, the 4 channel? What about the tower speakers?
  6. brockhals

    stereo question

I was saying that if he were to bridge two channels, he'd then wire the towers in parallel creating a 2 ohm load, however the amp would then 1/2 that so 1 ohm for each channel which isn't stable.
  7. brockhals

    stereo question

You could, but then you're splitting the 4 ohm power in two with no additional benefit.
  8. brockhals

    stereo question

What I'd do is add the mid cabins to the "rear" channel on the amp with the other cockpit speakers, thus putting this channel into a 2 ohm load. Then bridge the "tower" channel to two ohm as well, so only the bow speakers will be running at a 4 ohm load. The sub is on another amp so I'd leave...

    stereo question

I'd bridge (if possible) two channels on the 6 channel to run both tower speakers at 2 ohnm. and add mid cabin mids as mentioned above

I signed up with Fortune Builders after their long weekend (Friday - Sunday, 10 hours each day!). We learned so much that we elected to join their Mastery program to continue our education and utilize their systems and proven tools (like a Franchise but not). It really sounds like a great...

    cracked gel coat (picture added)

So you've had the pumps off previously and I presume didn't notice any cracks before. From the pics it looks like spider cracks from over tightening the bolts.

One 6 Channel or a 4 and 2 Channel amps

I'd do a 4 channel and a two channel separately for the reasons Mel mentions above. Plus it allows you to go to larger tower speakers in the future.

Is anyone into this? Whether in rentals, flips (rehabbing) or private lending? I'm getting ready to get into this very heavily. Carrie and I took a weekend course thru Fortune Builders and signed up to be part of their program. It's something we've thought about doing for over seven years now...

    Ultimate Wake Boat?

@octavio3311 That was the discounted price...MSRP was $120+, and keep in mind this was a "base model". No tower speakers, base stereo (since I can do my own thing much cheaper), etc. It easily could've been a $140K boat, which I'd never pay! I'd take a 2012-2013 and have someone else take...

    Ultimate Wake Boat?

I priced an X30 with very few options (but did have the surf system and all that) and it came back at 96K with trailer

@Jim Robeson, Stopping and handling on twisty roads would be key with the smaller trucks. Power may not be an issue, it's all the other factors, plus don't forget you have about 300lbs of fuel, plus other gear in your boat...it adds up quickly.

2014 F250 Lariat the day I bought it...you can see me in the driver seat. 6.7L Powerstroke with over 800 lb/ft of torque. Added rear seat heaters, automatic tailgate lock and tailgate assist so it doesn't knock my daughter over when she tries to open it :winkingthumbsup" Hooked to my 2005...

    Amp suggestions for 8 speakers

Oh ok, didn't realize...in that case I'd agree. If fade/balance isn't important to you it can be done with a nice 4 channel amp, all will be 2ohm stereo which shouldn't be much of a problem. The issue will be getting enough power to each speaker since you'd be cutting each channels output in...
