    First trip after the winter

Change your spark plugs after your first run! The fogging oil will burn off and may foul your plugs, so burn it off with the old plugs in then change em

Tipping...and I'm not talking about pushing cows over!

I usually tip 20% of the bill for the three of us, but I can keep them running with refills, etc as well. If I do carry out, I figure 10% is more than enough for the chefs cooking, and I'm taking it on faith that it's right as I don't go thru the box and look for every detail. This is where...

    Chicago Loop Cruise 2009

I always thought you tied off to a part of the wall and the wall raised and lowered with the water levels...weird

    Best aftermarket tower

You can check out http://www.newdimensiontowers.com/ as well. They had the older towers for the Yamahas. Pre 2010 I believe?

Thinking about a 2011 Tahoe or Yukon as a tow vehicle

My Denali did not have wiring for a brake controller, but you don't need that for these boats. It should have a hitch rated at 8,500 lbs or so and the standard 7 wire trailer wiring, but no controller. I did have the trans cooler (albeit was mighty small)

Thinking about a 2011 Tahoe or Yukon as a tow vehicle

I had a 2012 and it came with it. Not sure if it was dealer added or not though, but I seriously doubt you'd need anything more.

    Speaker Upgrade Suggestions

Agreed. An amp will help you turn up the volume with no distortion so you'd actually be able to hear them while underway.

Auto Following Quadcopter with Gimble Camera

Think I may order a Phantom 2. They're on sale on amazon and already include the Gimbal. What else should I look for (besides a GoPro) http://www.amazon.com/DJI-Phantom-Quadcopter-Zenmuse-3-Axis/dp/B00JD4TQ8Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1419876737&sr=8-1&keywords=phantom+2

Auto Following Quadcopter with Gimble Camera

@Ronnie the Phantom 1 doesn't have a Gyro though right? I'd certainly want that. And whatever I'd need to see the captured image on my phone/ipad.

    Apparently I'm a Flopper

I have a sleep number, M7 I think. It has memory foam on top of the air mattresses so it's best of both worlds! Also have some kind of cover that allows it to breathe so it doesn't get hot.

What do you use to tow your boat?

Picked up this beauty a few weeks ago...I don't even know the boat is there, and it's 8,500 lbs!! Makes the boat look small  New Rig!! by brockhals posted Dec 16, 2014 at 10:55 AM

Factory cloth cover ok in winter?

Make sure it's not frozen when you go to pull it to your new destination. It will tear easily while underway...also remove the poles at that point so the cold fabric doesn't try to stretch and tear.
