    Bimini july 3rd-7th 2020

I'm gonna be going to bimini on july 3-7 if anyone is interested in grouping up. I'm more than likely gonna be staying at bimini cove. I got a few boats from my local lake coming along as well.

    Gps tracking app

So is there an app for android phones that have a trip tracker like the garmin inreach where others can track your progress?

Bimini 2020 - early interest - dates TBD

In the past most people traveled with group. But the group was able to get discount rooms at bimini sands, discount truck and trailer parking and it was overall safer. Plus they partied like a rock star from what I heard. I reccomend finding someone with similar dates of travel as you. Or you...

I'm gonna go to the lake tomorrow and see if my socks float.

Bimini 2020 - early interest - dates TBD

I'm probably gonna stay at bimini cove (formerly bimini sands). I've never made the crossing but my buddy that's taking his boat has made 5 or 6 crossings. I've got some ocean experience. The main thing is to pay attention to the weather and make sure your boat and crew are in good shape. Expect...

Bimini 2020 - early interest - dates TBD

Sure no problem. I got a few boats from around the house interested in going as well.

What boating related things did you buy or get for Christmas 2019?

Waters too cold! In definitely a fair weather fan.

Bimini 2020 - early interest - dates TBD

Finally got my dates setup. I'm gonna be going July 3rd-7th. Can't wait for summer.

Bimini 2020 - early interest - dates TBD

Nope. Not getting another jetboat. If I buy a new boat its gonna be a 25ft shockwave tremor. If I go used I'm getting something in the 30ft range with twins.

This will probably be my last year with the scarab. My next boat will definitely be keeping up with that cobalt as well.

How many hours have you logged on your Scarab?

I got around 145 hours on my 2017 195 hoi. The only major problem I've had on my boat other than bolts vibrating loose were a couple relays for the shifter mechanism burnt out. I take mine in salt and fresh water.

Bimini 2020 - early interest - dates TBD

Yeah that's no problem. So far we've got my buddies 24ft Yamaha, my 19ft scarab, a couple of jet skis and a 37ft cobalt. I'm sure the cobalt is gonna walk off and leave everyone. But it is what it is.

Bimini 2020 - early interest - dates TBD

I got a few boats from Houston area interested in july 2nd or 3rd to the 7th. Don't know where we're staying yet. Been debating on renting a house. But if the sands in lined out I'd like to stay there. The downside to a house is dock space. My buddy wants to bring his 37ft cobalt. With 3 boats...

    4th of July in Bimini

I've got 3 from the Conroe area. One guy has made multiple trips on jet skis. But next year he wants to take his 24ft Yamaha. We're trying to get a few more local people. Also if I can get some people from here to go as well. We don't really have a hard date as of yet. But if we choose the 4th...

    4th of July in Bimini

Was wondering who has spent the 4th in bimini? Does it get overly crowded? Would it be better to wait another weekend?

Scarab - Dealer negotiations, your experience?

I got my 195 hoi for 42.5 at the Houston boat show. Just haggling with them. Told them I had a deposit on a Yamaha and said if you want me to buy your boat this is what I need.

    Lake travis

There's spots where you can jump off the cliffs into the lake too. Lake travis is beautiful no doubt.

    Lake travis

Little devils cove is right next to devils cove. As your coming into devils cove go to the left you'll see the cove split. No the oasis doesn't have water access. The gnarly gar has great food. Plus fuel and a ships store. Lake Travis is very nice. I'm probably gonna go again this summer...
