Close to pulling the trigger on an FSH Sport, any tips?

I've had mine for over 100 hours and 1.5 year, and this is my take: The boat is like a swiss army knife, can be used in different scenarios but will never be the knife of choise for a specific situation. This boat is like having a step up from a flat bay boat that can handle 4 adults...

    Need lights

And it is illegal to navigate with a light bar on, you will blind the oncoming boats.

    Kia Optima

Unless is a certified pre-owned, then 10/100 applies. And have a mechanic fully check the vehicle, dealers do not do a good job in throughly checking used cars or certifying them as pre-own. Have a mechanic check for: Any sings of body repairs (even if not shown in carfax) Allc suspension...

    Kia Optima

Read fine print for the factory warranty, the 10/100 only applies to first owner, and does not transfer. As for dealer lifetime warranty, do some research on which company they use, I have seen some good ones and many bad extended warranties. Try to get all the maintenence paper work from...

    Saltwater use

If your trailer is not aluminum or galvanized, make sure you wash it real good with fresh water, I have seen what salt water does to painted trailers in a few months and is not pretty. You should buy some saltwater and use to flush the engine and when you wash your trailer. Other then that you...

Drain plug led Diablo Royal ??

I'very had my drain plug lights for over 100 hours in saltwater and they work as good as the first day. The only advise I have, try to go with the brightest light that you can.

installing a Lowarence Elite 5 on a FSH

It works just fine on mine. I installed mine more then a year ago and no major complaints. My Navigation unit did failed after a year of use over 100 hours, the menu button stopped working. I called Lowrance customer support, it was out of warranty by a couple of days, they had me send mine...

    2016 FSH 190 Sport Re-Sale/Trade-In Value...

I've own mine for over 8 months, put about 100 hours on it, and love the boat. It meets my needs as a family boat, size (since i store inside my garage) and my fishing, snorkeeling and scuba diving needs. They way to look at it, is as nice bayboat that may also take fishing depending on...

Pics of Fish with the FSH Sport

I have been with 3 adults and 4 kids on the boat, full tank. At WOT i was dooing 34 mph, at 6500 rpm abpot 24 mph. That was on a flat day waves less then 1'. It does tend to raise up so you will have to distrubute the weigth until you get on a plane. I would not take that many passengers on...

installing a Lowarence Elite 5 on a FSH

In mine i have readings at all speeds, the only time i looe reading is when i come to a stop for about 30 seconds and when i go in reverse. Did you go into settings and check to see if there is an adjustment for what type of transducer and if is shoot thru hull or standard.

    Leaving Boat in Water.

You should be fine, I did the same thing this year in Marco Island, Make sure you are not leaking inside from your rubber drain plugs, they don't use enough sealant when they install them at the factory, I changed mine to gardboard drain plugs. spray everything with with anti corrosion spray...

installing a Lowarence Elite 5 on a FSH

7 is the perfect size. I upgraded mine to a HDS7 it looks better. The installation should not take you more then 2 hours, 3 if you take your time. Remember, measure, then measure and measure again before you start drilling!
