    I use silicone spray at the start and end of the season. I take the plugs out every day when we are done.

    Try socks. We wear the sport ankle length socks. I can't say our carpet has ever felt hot. And Seadeck is great but its very hard to remove.

    I got a 20yr loan through Yamaha at 2.99% 4 yrs ago. The money I invest continually makes more than 3%. So, it's better the sit on a 20yr loan at the low interest rate and make more money investing in the market. I can alway pay off the boat whenever I want. So I think it depends on the loan...

    Wide open throttle question

    I run my boat WOT and then slowly back it down, mostly for wake. I then cruise. I do worry more about start up. I start my boat and let it idle for about 5 minutes before I do a WOT from our dock.

    I put in a second bilge pump direct wired to the battery. Its a float type switch so its always on. I put in this Johnson pump.     Two stupid questions......

    I guess it depends on how far your boat is from your home. I have the keys on an orange float so they won't sink. Second and third set is in the house. I had extras made. I can swim from where we boat to the house so losing keys isn't such a big issue.
