    What is this?

I think you're confusing the tower with the bimini? You can and should tow with the tower in the upright position, but the bimini cover on the tower should not be open - it should be wrapped inside the boot (cover) to secure it to the tower for transport. If you're dropping the tower and bolting...

Question for SX/AR190 owners with 2 batteries

The larger boats that have dual batteries stock, also have them beside each other. I doubt it makes a big enough difference to weight distribution to be an issue.

    SX/AR 190 fender recommendations?

Ow, that hurts just looking at it. Did you do a gelcoat repair?

Looking for advice for stereo upgrade and setup

It's impressive how the sound really radiates that far back from the tower speakers.

    SX/AR 190 fender recommendations?

Same here. Fenders are necessary during launch and retrieval as we launch by hand/ropes. While I'm parking, my wife ties it off and turns on the blower and preps a few items like drinks from the cooler. A few minutes later I'm back in and we can fire it up and depart the dock safely. During that...

    Glastron jet boat

Try doing a search - I seem to recall posts about sticking injectors staying open too long causing fuel issues.

    Coronavirus

That's common sense for any respiratory illness. I think the key points are Acetaminophen to knock down fever, hydrate and eat even if you don't feel like it, cough out phlegm gently don't swallow it, get your body moving when you start to feel better to help with recovery.

Boats on order - staying with your plan?

While it's true a few younger people have died, from what I've read most of them likely had contributing conditions that were not known prior to their deaths. Not far from my city a middle aged person around died due to complications from COVID-19. It was then turned into hysteria and reported...

Boats on order - staying with your plan?

Seems most people don't know what happens every year with the flu...they don't know because it doesn't make the news like this COVID hysteria. The last news worthy respiratory virus was H1N1 in 2009, and that was just simple reporting of the infection - panic news stories. Today COVID hysteria...

    Small hull gash repair help

I like Meguiar's stuff, but a one-step usually implies it has wax in it. Before you apply Rejex you want a clean hull free of wax so it will bond with the gelcoat. If you're going to wash the whole boat with dish soap (like Dawn) to clean off the wax, then it doesn't matter as much.

Looking for advice for stereo upgrade and setup

Maybe Hoyt's thread would help? https://jetboaters.net/threads/2020-195s-build-thread-warning-pic-heavy.24575/ It's a 19' model so would be somewhat similar...might give you some ideas.

    SX/AR 190 fender recommendations?

We've always used standard inflatable fenders (Attwood, Taylor, whatever) and adjusted location and length as needed. Never seen any gelcoat damage as they're somewhat "spongy" with the air inside. Hard plastic fenders could scratch if dust/sand gets between them and the gelcoat.

Battery Charger in the engine compartment?

It should come with a manual with guidelines about installation - generally you don't want to install anything that could spark near fuel or batteries. Heat may be a concern, so near the batteries, but a separate compartment location would be ideal I would think.

    Tracker?

Ok what @Nexus said - sounds like an anti-theft device.

Boats on order - staying with your plan?

That sucks...even older model tests that would at least give you an idea are out of the question?

Boats on order - staying with your plan?

Same here...been looking at various new boats for the last couple of years. But we've done a test drive of a previous model year and the 2020 will be even better. :winkingthumbsup"

    Tracker?

The CIA knows where you are now... I'm guessing it's for GPS info...do you have one of those command screens instead of the gauges?

2020 195S Build Thread WARNING PIC HEAVY

@Hoyt I've decided since you can get your stuff ready, and I can't, I now hate you. ? JK...does the mirror arm stay in place when hitting the waves?

Boats on order - staying with your plan?

So nothing to counter the facts or offer useful input, nor commentary on those facts. Just throw insults is your response? Seems to be a trend with you...if you don't like the answer, you choose to insult them instead. I find that rather boring. So anywho, heard my dealer should be fielding...

    Best Cleaning/Wax Products?

Everyone has their favorite. I like Mequiar's products but will be giving Rejex a try with the new boat if/when it arrives. Rejex is a polymer based product that bonds to the boat and supposedly provides a slick surface to make cleaning easier. The bottom at the planing speed line - the wax...
